Nowadays, our country or even the
whole world is experiencing hot weather,
because
of our problem regarding with our ozone layer. We are experiencing “Global
Warming”.
So for us to feel comfortable in our daily living, we invented appliances that
can
help us. Then, “Refrigeration and Air Conditioning” was invented.
Studying this kind of field is a great
help for us. Most especially, the
“Refrigeration”,
it helps us to store food, so that it won’t be spoiled easily, we can still
eat
the food after few days if it will be stored inside. As well as the “Air
Conditioner”, it
is
also a great help for us, because we can feel coolness when we are inside the
room
which
is air conditioned. Especially, when we are experiencing a very hot weather,
most
of
us want to stay in a cold place.
The researchers seek to find the
answers of the following questions:
1. What
is Refrigeration and Air Conditioning?
2. How
can Refrigeration and Air Conditioning help us in our daily survival?
3. What
are the advantages of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning?
Refrigeration
and Air Conditioning
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
may refer to the general process of altering air
properties
such as temperature, humidity, quality & velocity to achieve desired
conditions.
It is a process in which work is done more heat from a low temperature to a
high
temperature & typically also from one location to another.
Both
industrial refrigeration & air conditioning are based on the same
mechanism:
The cooling of substance. The refrigeration system made up of a
compressor,
evaporator, fan, condenser & expansion device, is the heart of both
systems.
Despite this, there are substantial differences between the systems, the
components
used, the design methods and the structures they are used in, such as to
merit
separate treatment.
Food conservations involves various
procedures, only one of which refrigeration,
which
differ according to the duration.

Refrigeration if the food
to be stores for a short time (0 C/+7 C)
·
Freezing, deep-freezing,
freezing drying if the food is to be stored for long periods.
For deep-freezing, the product must
reach -18 C in less than 4 hours, while for
freezing
the product can reach -18 C in more than 4 hours. During freeze drying, the
product
is dried by the evaporation of its water content. Refrigeration slows down the
proliferation
of bacteria in food.
Air-conditioning use chemicals that
easily convert from a gas to a liquid & back
again.
This chemical is used to transfer heat from the air inside of a home to the
outside
air. The machine has 3 main parts, the compressor, condenser & evaporator.
The
compressor & condenser are usually located on the outside air portion of
the air
conditioner.
The evaporator is located on the inside of the house, sometimes as part of
a
furnace.
Refrigeration
& Air Conditioning can help us in our daily survival
The Refrigeration & Air
Conditioning is important for us, because in our lives, we
use
the refrigerator & air conditioners in our home. We use refrigerator at
home to
store
our daily food, so we don’t have to keep trying to pressure the food on salt.
Refrigerators
have been along for a longer period of time & each time, they’re finding a
better
way to make people’s lifestyle easier. We also use air conditioners to give us
comfort
& coolness.
Advantages
of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
Homeowners can choose between
evaporative coolers & refrigerated air
conditions.
The latter is more commonly used because this device carries clear
advantages.
While areas, such as deserts, suffer from dried-out air, other areas benefits
from
dried-out air, including areas with humidity. Also, of course, the cooled air
carries
its
own benefits.
Refrigeration:

The advantages of
Refrigeration’s construction division focus on the design, manufacture,
installation & commissioning of commercial & industrial refrigeration
systems.

While our service
management group provides & support to customers & their equipment.
Both groups work closely together to ensure that appropriate resource are
always available to satisfy customer requirements at every stage of their
refrigeration equipment’s life cycle.
Air conditioning:
·
It has its obvious
advantages but there are times when it may be needed more than others. An
example of this is: Office Buildings. The reasons for this are because:
1. There
are a lot more people in the office then there would be in a house.
2. There
are a lot of machines generating heat as well.
3. A
hot & stuffy office can make employers/employees irritable & less
likely to work, so it is important to have a proper air conditioning system
installed.
4. It
can be a lot more powerful than a small fan you plug in at the wall
5. If
you have a large open plan office it would be impossible to keep everyone cool
with small fans or plug in units. However, having a proper air distribution of
cool air which will keep everyone happy.
Conclusion
The researchers concluded that
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning really is
important
in our daily living, especially nowadays. Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
are
the
same mechanism, the cooling of substance. There are a lot of advantages
regarding
with
this topic. One of which is that a refrigerator slows down the proliferation of
bacteria
in food, so, food that are stored in refrigerator are not easily spoiled &
air
conditioner
is a great help especially in office buildings, because it gives comfort to the
employers/employees
& it also lessens irritation among them.
