I. Reasons for evaluation

            Billy rey catipay is referred for psychological evaluation to asses his learning styles, intelligence, personality and behavioral functioning.

II. Evaluation Procedures

            A series of personality test was administered, including the Learning styles Inventory, Learning Styles Assessment, Multiple Intelligences Test, Eysenck Personality Test,16 Factor Personality Test, and Four  Temperaments/ Humours

III. Background Information or Relevant history

            The client resides with his parents and his (2) two brothers and (1) one sister at Cebu city. He is the 2^nd oldest. Both              younger brother and sister are still studying. He is 18 year old and his talent is drawing and dancing and he leave in Cebu city. He graduated from Mantalongon national high school and he is the one of the most outstanding student.

            After him graduate he pursue his study at Cebu technological university main campus taking up Bachelor of since in Mechanical Engineering and now currently 2nd year student.

 

IV. Impressions and interpretations

• Learning styles

The results of the test reveal a visual leaner. He likes to visualize things in his mind. The results of the learning style inventory is 34% he like to listen to a lecture, he like to write things down or notes for visual review. The results of the learning styles assessment is 23% he can remember information better if he write it down.

• Intelligence test 

The results of intelligence test is (2) two the linguistic/verbal, (2) two is the logical/mathematical, (4) four is the musical, (0) zero is the spatial/visual, (6) is bodil/ kinesthetic, (5) is interpersonal, (3) is interpersonal, (5) is naturalistic, and (0) is existential. The highest is (6) is the bodil/kinesthetic.

• Personality

     

1. Eysenck personality

1.1 The results of the eysenck personality test are 76% it is extroversion were medium which suggests you are moderately talkative, outgoing, sociable and interacting. And the lowest is 50% is the neuroticism was moderately low which suggests you are relaxed, calm, secure, and optimistic.

2. (16) Factor personality test

2.1 The results of 16 Factor personality test is the 90% which is the dutifulness it show conforming and traditional and the lowest is 30 % which is the tension it show stressed and unsatisfied the common results is the warmth, emotional stability, social assertiveness, and independence which is 70%.

3. Four Temperaments/ humours test

3.1              The highest results are 37% is the sanguine: Loves people, friendly, great story-teller...Loves to be center of attention or just to fit in. Weaknesses: Loss of individualism because you care too much about others' opinions. 27 % from 33709 test takers had this profile and the lowest results is 13% is the phlegmatic Laid-back, good-natured, easy to please. Usually get along with everyone, not one to 'make waves. Weaknesses: Easy to become lazy, indecisive, selfish--usually undisciplined.

V. Analysis: Sentences of results

The intelligence test the highest is 6 it is the Bodil/kinesthetic. The kinesthetic intelligence knowledge through body sensation. They have excellent motor coordination. They need to more around by involving ones body and its various parts skillful for example dancers, athletes, actor, models, clown or etc.

 And the personality test all about Eysenck personality, 16 factor personality test, and four temperaments/humours. VI. Summary and recommendations
 
The assessment reveals diagrams and charts, the client is visual learner. He can grasp things fast when they are explained, and often say, "It sounds as if..," the client is likely to be an auditory learner. If his use physical touch a lot and need to get his hands on tasks, his probably a kinesthetic learner. No deviating behaviors, personality test results reveal that client is a visual learner. His tendency to be visualizing on people on his mind and tolerate disorder, self awareness intervention is recommended.

BALER THE MOVIE
Ang Baler ay nagsimula sa dalawang magkasintahan na sina Feliza at Celso. Sila ay nagmamahalan ng patago sapagkat si Celso ay isang sundalong Espanyol at si Feliza ay isang Pilipino. Sa panahong ito ay nasa loob ng pananakop ng Espanya ang Pilipinas at nagsimula ang komplikadong pangyayari ng makipagsabwatan ang ama ni Feliza na si Daniel sa kampo nina Collonel Villacorte pinagsama nila ang kanilang samahan.

Nang kanilang simulan ang paglusob ay nagulat ang mga Espanyol sapagkat wala silang alam sa mangyayari. Sa sobrang lakas ng pwersa ng mga Pilipino ay kailangan pa nilang lumipat sa simbahan at doon ay wala silang sapat na pagkain at inumin. Si Gabriel naman na kapatid ni Feliza ay tumakas nang sila ay lumilikas upang di madamay sa darating na digmaan. Isang beses habang sila ay nagmimisa sa sobrang gutom ay bumagsak na lamang bigla ang pare na si padre Candido Gomez Carreno, Tuwing naghahatid o nagbibigay ang mga Pilipino ng pagkain ay sinasalubong ito ng mga Espanyol gamit ang isang puting bandila at pagdating ng gabi ay napag-utusan sina Lope at Celso na magtungo sa kuta ng mga Pilipino at doon ay sinunog nila ang isang kubo upang mawala ang intension ng mga ito. Habang nagkakasunog ay kinuha nila ang mga manok at iba pang pagkain. Nagkita si Feliza at Celso at doon ay hindi nila napigilan ang mga sarili at sila ay nagyakap napansin sila ng ama ni Feliza na si Daniel mabuti na lamang at mas nakuha ng sunog ang pansin ng ama nito.

Isang beses pa nga ay nagsagawa ng isang handaan ang mga Pilipino sa harap ng simbahan. Sa pagbibigay ng pagkain ng mga Pilipino ay isang beses ay nagpresinta si Feliza na sya ang mag-aabot nito, si Celso naman ang tatanggap. Dumaan ang maraming arw at nalaman ni Celso na si Feliza pala ay pinagbubuntis ang kanilang anak. At dahil doon ay nagplano ang ilang sundalong espanyol na tumakas, noong sila ay tatakas na ay biglang nagising ang kanilang pinuno at bigla namang bumaliktad ang kanyang kasama at sinabing na siya ay gustong tumakas. At dahil doon ay napagpasyahang hatulan ng kamatayan si Celso siya ay pinahirapan at sa kalaunan ay binaril. Halos isang taon din ang nakalipas bago tuluyang sumuko ang mga Espanyol Matapos sumuko ay agad na hinanap ni Feliza si Celso ngunit hindi niya ito natanaw kaya siya tumakbo sa loob ng simbahan at doon niya nakita ang si Celso na patay na.

Soren (Jim Sturgess), a fledgling barn owl, lives peacefully in the forest of Tyto with his family; his father, Noctus (Hugo Weaving); his mother, Marella (Essie Davis); his older brother, Kludd (Ryan Kwanten), his younger sister, Eglantine (Adrienne DeFaria) and Ms. P the family's nest maid. Noctus enjoys telling Soren and Eglantine stories of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, a mythical group of warrior owls, who once saved all owlkind from the evil "Pure Ones" in a great battle in which the Guardians' leader, Lyze of Kiel, defeated the Pure Ones' leader Metal Beak. Kludd, however, thinks Soren soft-headed for believing in such stories. One night, while branching, a jealous Kludd pushes Soren and loses his balance in the process, and they both fall to the ground below. They are attacked by a Tasmanian devil but are saved and also kidnapped by a pair of Long-Eared Owls named Jatt (Leigh Whannell) and Jutt (Angus Sampson). They are taken to St. Aegolious, home to the Pure Ones, where Soren meets an (elf owl) named Gylfie (Emily Barclay) and her captor, a (boreal owl) named Grimble (Hugo Weaving). The two are roughly thrown into a crowd of other kidnapped owlets. Nyra (Helen Mirren), second-in-command of the Pure Ones and the mate of Metal Beak, claims that the owlets now work for the Pure Ones as slaves. Soren and Gylfie protest, and are sent to be pickers, along with most of the captive owls. Kludd denies his brother, and goes away to be a soldier with other selected owls. They are tutored by Nyra in the ways of the Pure Ones, who believe that Tyto owls (barn owls and their relatives) are the strongest owls and that, because of this, they have the right to rule the owl kingdoms.The other captured owls are forced to sleep under the full moon. Gylfie informs Soren that this will cause "moon-blinking", a trancelike state in which owls lose all sense of will and individuality. Soren and Gylfie stay awake, which means that they are not moon-blinked. They are brought to a large cavern to pick through owl pellets for small metal flecks. Soren discovers that the flecks en masse cause weakening pain in owls, when he is ordered to deliver a fleck to the bag they are kept in. The full bag is then carried away by a large bat to a gigantic metal container. Metal Beak (Joel Edgerton) and an unknown owl watch from above, making a bargain in which the unknown owl will receive a portion of the owl kingdoms and the Tree in return for laying a trap for the Pure Ones' enemies, the Guardians of Ga'Hoole. Grimble secretly takes Soren and Gylfie to his library, where he reveals that he is not truly a Pure One. He also tells the two owlets that his family was captured by the Pure Ones and forced into their service. He teaches Soren and Gylfie to fly, so they can warn the Guardians of the Pure Ones' plans. Kludd has become a strong soldier, and his promise prompts Nyra to ask him about Soren's similar potential. Hoping to recruit him, the Pure Ones interrupt Grimble's flying lessons. Nyra attacks Grimble, Soren and Gylfie. Kludd joins the fray on Nyra's side, ignoring Soren's pleas. Grimble sacrifices himself to hold them back, and Soren and Gylfie just barely escape to begin their quest. On their journeys, they meet a (burrowing owl) named Digger (David Wenham); a (great gray owl) named Twilight (Anthony LaPaglia); and Soren's old nestmaid, a (snake) named Mrs. P (Miriam Margolyes). They join Soren with the promise of leading him to the Sea of Hoolemere, the location of the Great Tree and the home of the Guardians. Soren and his allies are mobbed by (crows) on the way to the Sea and they nearly loss Twilight's lute, in which Mrs. P is riding. The battle brings them to the shore of the Sea of Hoolemere and the home of an (echidna) mystic (Barry Otto). The crows deliberately led them to the meeting so that the Echidna could give them their bearings to the Great Tree. Far out over the ocean the group encounters a fierce hurricane, and Digger falls towards the sea. Soren dives to save him, only to find Digger being rescued by an enormous (snowy owl) with an armored mask - a Guardian of Ga'hoole. The Guardian leads Soren and his friends through the storm to the Great Tree. Digger's saviors are Boron and Barran, the king and the queen of the Tree. The king and queen, as well as the ranking officers of Ga'hoole, hear Soren's tale. The search-and-rescue squadron leader, a (great gray owl) named Allomere (Sam Neill), expresses doubts about Soren's story. But battle-scarred (whiskered screech owl) Ezylryb (Geoffrey Rush) defends Soren. Boron decides to send a scouting party, led by Allomere, to St. Aegolious. Soren, Gylfie, Twilight, and Digger begin their training in the different trades of the Tree. During one lesson, Ezylryb takes them out to learn how to "really fly," using a powerful storm to teach the young owls how to use the wind currents instead of fighting them. Soren briefly masters the technique of flying by instinct, only to lose control and to be saved by Ezylryb. After the lesson, Soren converses with Ezylryb in his hollow tree and learns that Ezylryb is, in fact, Lyze of Kiel. Soren is disillusioned with the seemingly heroic stories when he sees his hero's disfigurements and hears that the battle in the stories wasn't as heroic as he thought. Allomere returns without his scouts. He tells King Boron that they were ambushed; that the scouts were killed; and that he barely managed to return with two moon-blinked owlets. One of the moon-blinked owlets is Eglantine, who was kidnapped by Kludd. Outraged, the Guardians go to war. At the urging of Ezlyryb, Soren reluctantly stays to tend to Eglantine. She soon awakes, but with shocking news: she wasn't rescued, but given to Allomere by Kludd. Allomere is revealed to be a traitor, and Soren and his friends rush to the Guardians' aid. When the Guardians arrive at St. Aegolious, they are drawn into a trap. Allomere peels off at the last moment and the Pure Ones unleash the power of the flecks against the Guardians, leaving the owls helpless on the ground. Soren and his friends arrive minutes too late, just as Metal Beak and Nyra send the bats to finish off the defenseless Guardians. Soren sends Twilight, Digger and Gylfie to hold back the bats. He plunges into the burning forest fire, carrying an oil lamp that becomes engulfed in flames after flying through the fire. The band's unprecedented arrival causes Metal Beak to distrust Allomere. Believing that he has been betrayed, Metal Beak orders a group of bats to viciously kill Allomere. Soren plunges into the flecks' magnetic field to drop the flaming oil lamp on the mechanism which holds open the lids over the flecks. The fire spreads across the machine and burns through the ropes. The lids slam down, freeing the Guardians. With his plan disrupted, Metal Beak orders the Pure Ones to fight the Guardians. Ezylryb and Metal Beak square off, as do Soren and Kludd. Their fight leads to them ending up in the burning forest. Soren tries to talk some sense into Kludd, who tells his younger brother that the Pure Ones believed in him when no one else did. He attacks Soren with renewed vigor, sending them both tumbling over a fallen tree and causing Kludd to break a wing. He convinces Soren to save him, only to attempt to pull his younger brother into the flames. Soren dodges the attack, and Kludd falls into the flames instead. Soren sees that Ezylryb, Metal Beak, and Nyra are engaged in fierce combat. Filled with rage, he snaps off a burning branch and flies off to help Ezylryb. He takes Metal Beak by surprise, arriving in time to save Ezylryb. Metal Beak easily overpowers Soren and throws his branch away. Soren regains his weapon, just as Metal Beak moves in for the kill. Metal Beak impales himself on the branch, and Nyra retreats with the remaining Pure Ones. Soren and his friends return to the Great Tree with the owlets, and Soren is greeted by Eglantine and his parents. Soren, Gylfie, Twilight, and Digger are made Guardians of Ga'Hoole. In the epilogue, Soren reveals that Kludd's body was never found and Nyra is still out there with a contingent of Pure Ones. Kludd is then shown to be alive, now with the glowing red eyes of the other Pure Ones. He walks around and stares down at Metal Beak's body and mask, hinting at a sequel with Kludd as the new Metal Beak.

Soren, is a young owl enthralled by his father's epic stories of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole, a mythic band of winged warriors who had fought a great battle to save all of owl kind from the evil Pure Ones. While Soren dreams of someday joining his heroes, his older brother, Kludd, scoffs at the notion, and yearns to hunt, fly and steal his father's favor from his younger sibling. But Kludd's jealousy has terrible consequences--causing both owlets to fall from their treetop home and right into the talons of the Pure Ones. Now it is up to Soren to make a daring escape with the help of other brave young owls. Together they soar across the sea and through the mist to find the Great Tree, home of the legendary Guardians of Ga'Hoole--Soren's only hope of defeating the Pure Ones and saving the owl kingdoms.

          Nowadays, our country or even the whole world is experiencing hot weather,

because of our problem regarding with our ozone layer. We are experiencing “Global

Warming”. So for us to feel comfortable in our daily living, we invented appliances that

can help us. Then, “Refrigeration and Air Conditioning” was invented.

          Studying this kind of field is a great help for us. Most especially, the

“Refrigeration”, it helps us to store food, so that it won’t be spoiled easily, we can still

eat the food after few days if it will be stored inside. As well as the “Air Conditioner”, it

is also a great help for us, because we can feel coolness when we are inside the room

which is air conditioned. Especially, when we are experiencing a very hot weather, most

of us want to stay in a cold place.

          The researchers seek to find the answers of the following questions:

Refrigeration and Air Conditioning

          Refrigeration & Air Conditioning may refer to the general process of altering air

properties such as temperature, humidity, quality & velocity to achieve desired

conditions. It is a process in which work is done more heat from a low temperature to a

high temperature & typically also from one location to another.

Both industrial refrigeration & air conditioning are based on the same

mechanism: The cooling of substance. The refrigeration system made up of a

compressor, evaporator, fan, condenser & expansion device, is the heart of both

systems. Despite this, there are substantial differences between the systems, the

components used, the design methods and the structures they are used in, such as to

merit separate treatment.

          Food conservations involves various procedures, only one of which refrigeration,

which differ according to the duration.

·         Refrigeration if the food to be stores for a short time (0 C/+7 C)

·         Freezing, deep-freezing, freezing drying if the food is to be stored for long periods.

          For deep-freezing, the product must reach -18 C in less than 4 hours, while for

freezing the product can reach -18 C in more than 4 hours. During freeze drying, the

product is dried by the evaporation of its water content. Refrigeration slows down the

proliferation of bacteria in food.

          Air-conditioning use chemicals that easily convert from a gas to a liquid & back

again. This chemical is used to transfer heat from the air inside of a home to the

outside air. The machine has 3 main parts, the compressor, condenser & evaporator.

The compressor & condenser are usually located on the outside air portion of the air

conditioner. The evaporator is located on the inside of the house, sometimes as part of

a furnace.

Refrigeration & Air Conditioning can help us in our daily survival

          The Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is important for us, because in our lives, we

use the refrigerator & air conditioners in our home. We use refrigerator at home to

store our daily food, so we don’t have to keep trying to pressure the food on salt.

Refrigerators have been along for a longer period of time & each time, they’re finding a

better way to make people’s lifestyle easier. We also use air conditioners to give us

comfort & coolness.

Advantages of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning

          Homeowners can choose between evaporative coolers & refrigerated air

conditions. The latter is more commonly used because this device carries clear

advantages. While areas, such as deserts, suffer from dried-out air, other areas benefits

from dried-out air, including areas with humidity. Also, of course, the cooled air carries

its own benefits.

          Refrigeration:

·         The advantages of Refrigeration’s construction division focus on the design, manufacture, installation & commissioning of commercial & industrial refrigeration systems.

·         While our service management group provides & support to customers & their equipment. Both groups work closely together to ensure that appropriate resource are always available to satisfy customer requirements at every stage of their refrigeration equipment’s life cycle.

          Air conditioning:

·         It has its obvious advantages but there are times when it may be needed more than others. An example of this is: Office Buildings. The reasons for this are because:

1.    There are a lot more people in the office then there would be in a house.

2.    There are a lot of machines generating heat as well.

3.    A hot & stuffy office can make employers/employees irritable & less likely to work, so it is important to have a proper air conditioning system installed.

4.    It can be a lot more powerful than a small fan you plug in at the wall

5.    If you have a large open plan office it would be impossible to keep everyone cool with small fans or plug in units. However, having a proper air distribution of cool air which will keep everyone happy.

Conclusion

          The researchers concluded that Refrigeration & Air Conditioning really is

important in our daily living, especially nowadays. Refrigeration & Air Conditioning are

the same mechanism, the cooling of substance. There are a lot of advantages regarding

with this topic. One of which is that a refrigerator slows down the proliferation of

bacteria in food, so, food that are stored in refrigerator are not easily spoiled & air

conditioner is a great help especially in office buildings, because it gives comfort to the

employers/employees & it also lessens irritation among them.
